2018 SMS Long Course Championships

The 2018 SMS Long Course Championships was held August 11-12 in Baton Rouge on the campus of LSU.  SMS wishes to thank everyone who participated in, attended, or contributed to the successful LCM Champs.  And a special thank you is extended to LSU and its Athletic Department for allowing us access to, arguably, one of the fastest pools in the country. 

Along with the familiar faces we’ve seen in meets past, many in attendance were new and we’re looking forward to more joining us at our next meet.  We'll see y'all there!

2018 SMS SCY Championships

The 2018 Southern Masters Swimming Championships was held on March 24-25 in Biloxi, MS, and hosted by Biloxi Elite Swim Team and Coach James Lee.  We wish to thank all of the officials and volunteers who helped make this event successful.

A total of 10 teams were represented by 70 swimmers.  There were many personal best times and several SMS records broken during the weekend.  Once these records are verified, the records list will be updated.  Congratulations to everyone and we’ll see you next in the long pool!
